Jenean B.'s Story

Funny, loyal friend and great to be around. I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea . As it turns out, they were wrong.Listening to some upbeat music. I never did anything wild in school. Dull Huh? If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have coffee, my watch, and a sense of humor to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My inspiration come from Nellie Brown a professor in college. She was unique. I have lived in Tampa FL, Savannah GA, Atlanta Ga, Troy AL, Fitzpatrick AL, Montgomery AL, Panama City FL, Guam and Dothan AL. Moved due to father being in the Air Force and career. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is my brother Max, because I miss him terribly. He was murdered by a Dominos employee in 1989.. I love to watch Super Nanny, Wife Swap and So You Think You Can Dance and The Food Network. How many loved ones I have lost to death in my life has been the greatest shock to me. If I could improve my home, I'd remodel nothing and add on a nothing. My dream home would be just as my home is now.. I was never fortunate enough to have children but my stepchildren have brought great times in my life. I have learned to love the small things in life and then when the big and wonderful things happen it is unreal. Again Nellie Brown for the influence she made on my life. She was such an inspiration and made the world seem so much brighter. If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to Wesley Manor Nursing Home Alzheimer's Unit where my grandmother resides, then spend the rest on spouse, relatives and bank the rest.. I have never lived in a dorm. Thank goodness I had a wonderful Landlady in college that became my second mother. What a delight she was in my lif...Expand for more
e. I would be relaxing at home with my spouse doing nothing really, just being together. My current age is 53. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be older than dirt. I was so completely wrong.. Working hard comes natural to me. I was raised with a strong work ethic and I am dedicated, organized and very disciplined. My best friend would tell you I'm funny and loyal and there when you need me, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as quiet and reserved and serious. I pretty much dress the same style which is conservative. I have not really ever had a weird job. I share my home with my beagle, Taylor, which I find absolutely adorable. I have trophies but not on my mantel. Trophies for Bat Girl from High School and Trophies for Panama City's Junior Miss and State of Florida for Poise and Appearance. I would not do anything differectly and have no regrets for what I have selected in my life. All the ups and downs have made me who I am today. In 10 years, I hope to be relaxed and retired. I'm going to get there by 09/2010. My oldest friend is Ina and we met in the early 1980's. I was new in town and she worked in the local hardware store. We have been like relatives ever since. She is a wonderful and friend and we have seen each other through many good and many rough times. My short hair. I had long red hair in high school. My first job was at Holland's Dress Shop in Panama City FL, where I got paid $1.60 to wrap gifts. What I remember most about it is the wonderful Christmas bonus every year. A great childhood memory is flying on a Flying Tiger Plane to Guam and laying over in Honolulu airport with pineapple juice in the water fountains. I got my first pair of Delta Airline wings on that trip.
